Wednesdays with Sandrine, The Shutterfly Book

Before we first came to South Africa, I made a Shutterfly book for the boys titled Friends and Family from America. I wanted them to have a way to remember faces and connect with family back home. Since Eland was only eighteen months old when we left, I think it especially helped him know who we were going to see when we came back to the States to visit last fall.

Now that we're leaving South Africa, we have tons of friends here that I don't want the boys to forget, either. I suppose another book will have to cover everyone, but for now, I made a book to commemorate our Wednesday mornings with Sandrine. I haven't seen it printed yet, but I'm pretty excited to get my hands on it when we get "home" next week. While it wasn't Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator (yes, I'm a spoiled graphic designer ;), Shutterfly really made the book customizable--much more than last time I made a book. It means I spent more time making it, but I have a feeling that the outcome will be that much cooler.

In the meantime, here's a sneak preview:

Posting this is dual-purpose: to share, and to get a $10 off coupon from Shutterfly. Not bad, right?
