Sandrine graciously devoted her entire Wednesday to escorting us around Cape Town, so after our gorgeous morning on top of Table Mountain, we whisked my mom away to False Bay.
The bay is expansive, and really a sight to behold. And when on the shores of False Bay, eating fish and chips is a must! We made a tasty stop at the Harbor House Restaurant in Kalk Bay. (Which is still on False Bay, in case you were wondering.)
Surfers in Muizenberg
Look at those steady waves rolling in!
Inside the restaurant we had a fantastic view of the shore
Pretty cool, am I right?!
The boys were fantastic on our adventure-day
We even spotted a rainbow! It was very vibrant!
The boys got to watch seals playing in the water
The seals were hard to capture on "film"
On our way home we passed one of the larger townships in Cape Town, Khayalitcha
It really seems like it goes on forever--10 km at least. My heart is broken for how these people have to live.
