Day 6 with Mom/Gram: Hanging around

Auggie and Eland tend to get pretty creative when it comes to playing inside. Mom got to see the boys build their "car" which sometimes moonlights as a "land rover" or who knows what else. :) I got some cute photos with Gram and the boys in the "car", but Gram was still in her pajamas, so I'll just show you the boys here.
Auggie at the wheel. :)
Eland in his "house"
Auggie often builds complex roof structures for his "house" with the toy box lids
Gram also got to see some Lego genius first-hand.
Here is Auggie's "The Looking into Outer Space Airplane"
(Those four holes pointing up at the top are the parts that look into outer space, just in case you were wondering.)

Eland holding his "gam-gover"
(Note: "gam-gover" rhymes with Land Rover)

Cheers! with a glass of Neethlingshof Owl Post Pinotage!
I don't have any photos of Gram from Day 6! Sheesh! Well, this photo wouldn't have been possible without her. I made ostrich stir-fry for dinner so that she could try a well-loved South African meat.
We also made it to Tokara on Tuesday morning, which was as toasty, relaxing, and fun as we had hoped. It was a nice, chill day. I probably won't get to it today, but next up will be Day 7 with a trip up Table Mountain and lunch in Kalk Bay on False Bay. Stay tuned. ;)
