While the initial buying interest of all the kids was focused on gobbling up as much sugar as possible, our table did end up being a big success. The kids were intrigued by the colorful bugs and shapes, and probably would have attempted to eat them if I hadn't insisted that they really were crayons. Auggie loved the exchange of goods for money, and had a great time running around buying things himself. Even Eland figured the process out and made a few purchases of his own. Selling-wise, our biggest success was the interest of the teachers. They were very excited about our crayons and one even bought eight of them. :)
