V&A Waterfront Harbor, Cape Town

We had Billy's car for the whole weekend so on Sunday we went to church and the waterfront in Cape Town. It was about a 40 minute drive to church in the Pinelands. I loved the church. It's perfect. And yet at a 40 minute drive away, it's completely impractical, let alone impossible. Ah well.

After church we headed to the V&A Waterfront Harbor. V&A stands for British monarchs Victoria and Albert. Auggie and Eland were thrilled to see all the boats.

Auggie and Mama in front of a crane!!!!
This one's for you, Jim. ;)
They had all kinds of boat trips for tourists. I need to remember this pirate's ship for Auggie's 4th birthday.
A battleship!
That's a blurry table mountain behind Dan.
Cranes!!!! Auggie was so very, very, very excited!
Lovely flowering bushes blocked our view of the townships when driving northbound out of Cape Town. More on those later.
Imagine people walking across 294/57/40/25... any Interstate. Yikes... They do it all the time here.
