As I mentioned previously, I met a woman on the flight to Cape Town who happens to live in Stellenbosch. What a Godsend! She's fantastic! Her name is Sandrine and she's my new friend! (Yes I sound like I'm in kindergarten, but she's my only friend here independent of Dan.)
Sandrine met us at our flat on Wednesday morning and we all went to the botanical gardens. Little did I know that it was only a 5 minute walk away! She treated me to a cappuccino and the boys to ice cream, and spent the entire morning with us. What a delight!
While I don't have a picture of my new friend, I do have pictures of the boys after having a wonderfully active morning traipsing around Stellenbosch.
