Kleinmond Climbing

We're trying to get as much climbing in as possible before the winter rains come, hence all the climbing posts. It's so much fun and the kids have a blast getting outdoors. Here we are at one of our favorite crags: Kleinmond. It's just around southeast corner of False Bay on the southern coast of South Africa. The approach is a steep 30-45min hike, but once you're up at the top there are severals walls to choose from and it's totally safe for the kiddos. The view from the top of the routes is beyond spectacular--ocean, mountains, valleys... Amazing!

Blue skies and green mountains!
I flashed my first 20 (5.10c) at Runaway Wall called Klubvoet Kitty. It was kind of a big deal. :)
Here's Auggie giving it a go
And swing-swing time! How cools is this picture?!
Eland's turn for swing-swing!
