Exhausted

We made it to Sioux Falls, SD and decided to call it a day's drive. We are exhausted. And we're ditching the tent for a hotel room. It was too much to drive all that way and make dinner and find a camp ground and pitch a tent and and and.. We are exhausted.

Auggie, on the other hand, was well rested and even hyper at dinner tonight. He slept marvelously as we drove and had more energy than I've ever seen in him as we attempted to eat at Chili's. Operative word: attempted. I ended up walking him around outside while Dan boxed our food up and took it to go. Auggie had way too much energy for the restaurant.

I'm not sure if you can see, but there was the most peculiar looking humming bird flying around while Auggie and I were outside the restaurant:





Do you guys remember the days when you had to choose smoking or non-smoking at a restaurant or hotel? I almost didn't know how to answer at dinner when we were asked which section we wanted to sit in. Check out the door to our room:
