The World That Was Ours
Sorry I haven't blogged, emailed, or put forth any effort of communication in the past three or fours days. I am reading a book that I seriously cannot put down. It's called The World That Was Our by Hilda Bernstein and takes an anti-apartheid, first-hand look to the historic Rivonia Trial that put Nelson Mandela in jail for life. Bernstein was part of the anti-apartheid movement in South Africa in the 1950's and 60's, and eventually, along with her husband, had to cross the border illegally, escaping certain imprisonment for opposing the government. What's crazy is that her story is a true story. Unbelievable..
You can expect emails to resume sometime tomorrow after I finish the last 30 pages tonight. :)
