The Sandia Cave:
It wasn't as exciting as we had hoped–and if you ever visit it be sure to bring a headlamp.
Bouldering with Dan, a weekly activity in the springtime:
Auggie loves reading, and I just died when I saw him sitting on Stella's bed reading. Too cute! She was working on a bone. They were both completely content until I barged in with the camera!
I wish I could harness this interest in doing the dishes in about 3 years:
Gram came for a visit in May!
Auggie had to show her how much he adores his Elmo airplane:
And he was naughty and climbed on the terrace for Gram. In Auggie-speak the word "climbing" sounds like "k-I'm" and he will let you know before he climbs on something by first announcing his intentions.
Gram brought Christmas in May: A new basketball hoop!
Auggie and his truck, a favorite toy!
Another belly-shot. I know I look ready to pop in it but I was only 7 months at the time.
Another favorite toy ever–Auggie's "kaaaa"!
Auggie and Gram rocking on our awesome $10 garage sale find:
A family picture:
After Gram flew back to Chicago we went camping in the Santa Fe National Forest. Despite it being Memorial Day weekend, we found an amazing campsite:
Our picnic area:
There was a great little creek just beyond where Dan is standing.
Staying warm in the car:
Stella had a blast running around the San Gregorio Reservoir the next day. It's very rare that she's ever allowed off-leash.
