Belly. There it is. Yikes! (32 weeks, aka 7.5 months)
Auggie eating breakfast:
Auggie, Dan, our friend Nathan, and his two sons went on a camping trip, and needless to say, they had a blast. Here are brothers Adrian and Asher (Auggie collectively calls them "Ash"):
Dan and Auggie:
Asher all covered in dirt–as he should be!
Adrian. Clearly, these boys are living it up!
Love it!
Auggie did have a great time, despite the lack of smiling-Auggie photos.
Teeheehee..
Dan and his luscious hair. I have plans to make him his own personal 70's album cover with this photo. I just need Aubrey Beardsley-esk drawings of naked ladies first:
My 27th birthday.. Mmmm, cake!
Auggie also enjoyed my birthday:
Hanging out, and loving our backyard:
Okay, this photo reminds me of a funny story. When my mom was in town she was outside with Auggie one morning. Auggie pointed at Stella's poo on the ground and said, "poo." Then he promptly walked over to Stella and nearly stuck his finger up her butt and then repeated, "poo." Stella got the heck out of his way, obviously, but clearly my little boy is making good potty connections. We were all laughing hysterically when we she told us what Auggie had done. (Don't worry, he's not actually touching her butt in this photo.)
Yes, our dog is actually on the hammock. She'll hang out on it for up to a whole minute, which is pretty long if you think about it.
This is Auggie's best friend Nora. They adore hanging out together!
Auggie pushing Nora on his Elmo airplane:
I wish Nora was in better focus in this photo, but it's still cute:
Gotta love it!
Auggie's first time on a canoe:
He was a little freaked out at first, but quickly got the hang of it.
We were at Nambe Lake, so we had to go check out the Nambe Falls:
(What?! Waterfalls in New Mexico? Yeah, we're still surprised. I do believe the falls were there even before the dam was built.)
Who said you needed water to enjoy a canoe? Here's Auggie swimming in our canoe in the backyard:
Until he decided to poop in the canoe.. Yep, still learning about potty.
Father's Day!
And hanging out the day before he and Dan flew to Chicago for a week:
Auggie loves his robot shirt and calls the robots, "bots!" He also likes to tell you about the "tars" on the robots.. Aka, stars!
Auggie learning body parts:
Hilarity:
The day after Dan and Auggie left. I'm sweaty from a walk with Stella. I'm 35 weeks here, and definitely looking bigger, too:
One big chunk of photos that I'm missing for the month of June is Auggie and Dan's Chicago trip. Dan had a conference in Chicago, which we planned to go to long before I got pregnant. But alas, I was too preggo to fly, so Auggie and Dan got to go by themselves. They had a blast staying with Dan's parents, and as soon as I have photos, I will upload them. My mom did email me a few, but Gmail's been funky lately and I can't seem to access them right now. Excuses excuses!! ... Still, it was very special visit, especially for Auggie, and I'd love to post them eventually.
