We took Auggie to a 4th of July celebration in our friends' neighborhood. It reminded me of block parties when I was a kid - a bike parade with streamers, except that this one was led by a real fire truck, and all kinds of fun games and food. Auggie was too little for the games (there was dunk tank - ha!), but Dan pushed him around the parade on his tricycle. He enjoyed the celebration for a good hour, tripped and scraped his knee, and then cried the whole way home.
