Cedarberg Camping Part 2: Camping Kiddies and Wolfberg Cracks

Wednesday was a big day for me in the Cedarberg. Dan and Andy watched the boys in the morning while Esmé and I hiked up the mountain, through the Wolfberg Cracks (pix on her camera.. will post eventually), ran several kilometers to the Wolfberg Arch, and headed back and then down again to trade with the guys. Andy's sister and her family went up as well and waited for the guys to explore a different part of the top. It was pretty epic, but completely awesome. The view from the top was spectacular--like no other place on earth.

Here are the boys waking up. It got pretty chilly at night but I think we all stayed warm and cozy in our sleeping bags.
Here I am getting ready to head up
The trail we took went along the defined diagonal line from the bottom left-ish up to the cracks at the top.
Here's a picture of the Wolfberg Cracks. They go through the mountain to the other side--perhaps as much as 400m?? There's a wide crack, which we came out of, and the narrow crack that we went through. Hiking the narrow crack involves wiggling through several tight squeezes and was so much fun!
Boys waiting for Mama to finally get down from the mountain. :)
