Auggie started school in Albuquerque shortly after we got back--August 19. Thankfully a very good friend called ahead to a pre-school that she was sending her daughter to and found out that they had room for Auggie. I quickly enrolled him as soon as we got back, and thankfully there was still space. This pre-school is held at a local church and it is truly an excellent program. I only wish they continued beyond pre-K! Auggie has school on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings, which is a nice break from five-days-a-week in Stellenbosch. Sure that had it's benefits, but we are appreciating this schedule, especially since it's a good 20-minute-plus drive to school.
Auggie chose the same shirt to wear to his first day of school here as he did in Stellenbosch. :) And of course Eland got in on the photos. He was a little upset that he wasn't going to school, too, but he knows that his turn starts next year. He's very excited.
