It must seem like a new world to Auggie to see the back of your heads, and smile when you turn around - and to know that Mommy and Daddy are indeed in the car. (In my day, there were no backward facing carseats. Very primitive.) : )
We drove to Santa Fe this afternoon to explore, and the funny thing is that the forward-facing carseat totally backfired. Because Auggie could see us he fought a much needed nap and instead wailed most of the way there. I suppose all adjustments in life take some getting used to. :P
