It came out of nowhere. Okay, maybe that's not entirely true. Auggie has been flying ever since he learned how to crawl. As soon as he had the crawl down, he headed straight for the next level: standing, walking, climbing - you name it, he's attempted it.
This evening I was watching him as he explored our living room and crawled up to our stairs. On any normal night he might have gnawed at the stairs, smacked them a few times to test the strength of the wood, or propped himself up into a stand for a few seconds. But this time he pulled himself up into a stand, and then managed to get his knee onto the first stair. And it took him all of three or four tries to completely master climbing stairs - watch and see!

Wow, Auggie is growing leaps and bounds in his abilities! Climbing stairs - fantastic! (Btw, you and Dan find the most novel music to go with his feats. Kind of made me laugh to hear the music and his breathing at the same time.) : )
