Eland's First Camping Trip

Eland's camping debut took place in his sixth month of life. Yes, we're starting him early! And yes, this trip did take place in February. We slept inside our car and bought an indoor-safe heater to keep us toasty. The heater didn't end up working all that well and we actually plan on returning it. Oh well. We all survived just fine, but opted not to stay a second night. ;)

I don't have much time to write, so instead, I'll write captions for the photos:

Picnic!

Auggie's mouthful (Hey Nana, he still eats with his mouth shut - sometimes ;)

We were at Enchanted Tower, and here is said tower

No one else was there, so Stella was in doggie heaven running free

Awwww :)

He's a climber already

Trust me, Eland was climbing on his own in the previous picture.. Seriously...

Auggie has one more year until he can fit into a kid-harness

Not sure if you can tell, but Eland is in the Moby Wrap inside my jacket in this photo. I always feel like Veruca Salt from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory when I wear him like that with my blue windbreaker.

In the car, dinnertime!

Dan made awesome bunks for the boys in our car. Auggie was *thrilled*!!

Morning

Our friends Kendra and Micah joined us in the morning for climbing. Here's Micah on the rock.

Doggie love. Stella is seriously the most affectionate dog I know - she'll lick non-stop if you let her.

Kendra climbing!

GREAT pics! The one of Eland climbing is pretty funny. He may be climbing before he walks at this rate :).
